Pale Yellow and Navy Quilt Coat
This unique and cozy Quilt Coat is handmade from a vintage, hand-stitched pinwheel patterned quilt. Colors range from butter yellow, to soft pale yellow, to faded indigo and navy blues, with a few pops of red.
The curved side pockets and blue binding all add to the charming look.
The coat’s back panel has been cut slightly longer than the front and with a curved shape.
This beautiful, wearable work of art was repurposed from a cotton quilt possibly from the 1950’s or 60’s that had been lovingly hand-stitched. Its vintage condition does have some missing stitches and fabric discoloration, and should be worn lightly.
The original quilt has been gently washed. Recommended care instructions are hand-washing only.
This one-of-a kind Quilt Coat is sized for a generous, loose fit for a women’s size 10/12/14, or Medium-Large.
